“I grew up between Berlin and Italy, studied music, worked in culture — and then one day I walked into a candle shop in Barcelona and everything changed”

LUCE was founded in 2023 and is a project of small gifts from interior design, photography and arts and crafts. After years in the culture industry, LUCE is an attempt to build something of my own, to organise my everyday life in a self-determined way and to get in touch with people with whom I share a love of beautiful things. LUCE candles are manufactured in candle factories in Italy and Spain. The figurine candles are painstakingly produced by hand - in family businesses that in some cases span generations. Inspired by my grandma, a grande dame of KaDeWe, Italian by choice, entrepreneur and style icon, who cultivated the sweet life and cruised around Berlin with her Twingo, with whom I played Kanasta to Eros Ramazzotti and who served the best Königsberg Meatballs - Grandma, LUCE is for you.
