AMO & Oak was born in the small Swedish town of Alstermo, out of a very simple, very human problem: cold feet in long Nordic winters. What started as a search for socks that were genuinely warm, soft and beautiful, without drifting into overpriced “luxury” or disposable fast fashion, slowly grew into a brand built around Scandinavian quality, warmth and calm design. Drawing on relationships with family friends who have long worked with textiles, AMO & Oak began with cozy socks and later expanded into footwear, always guided by the same idea: everyday essentials that feel just right, or in Swedish, "lagom". At its core, AMO & Oak stands for thoughtful materials and honest craftsmanship: soft natural fibres like alpaca and angora for socks, responsibly sourced wood for clogs, and designs that are minimal, timeless and easy to live with. The mission is to become a trusted name for Swedish winter essentials around the world.
