Oswen was founded in Cologne. After more than three decades in the fashion and footwear industry, working for global brands such as adidas, puma and Birkenstock and large-scale production, the goal was to take a step back and focus on doing less better. Oswen is built on the belief that good products should be simple, responsible and made with care. At the core of oswen is a fully European supply chain. Every pair is designed and created in Cologne and handcrafted in Portugal in close partnership with experienced producers. Materials are sourced from trusted European suppliers, with a focus on certified, natural components such as leather, cork, and crepe rubber. This approach allows for full transparency and control, ensuring quality at every stage while reducing unnecessary complexity and distance. The design and creative philosophy sits between heritage and outdoor. Oswen creates versatile footwear that works across environments, inspired by nature but built for the city. Clean silhouettes are combined with subtle functional elements to deliver comfort, durability, and all-day wearability.
