seijo Interior · Eichstätt, Germany
Cork bulletin boards, muslin towels, and linen cloths made in Germany—objects designed for everyday use, crafted with regional workshops.

Seijo means "normal" in Japanese and that's exactly where the brand starts. Johanna and David founded seijo in 2021 out of a simple impulse: trust your gut, don't bend to convention. What came out of it are everyday objects that are deliberately a bit more than just normal — a muslin cloth made from certified organic cotton, a cork wall, an MDF object crafted by hand.
No big drama, no trend promise. Just two people combining traditional craftsmanship with modern production, making, storing, and shipping everything in Germany and Europe — often lending a hand themselves. Their guiding thought, a quote from Walter Gropius, sums it up: "Standard forms that are not continually reviewed and renewed become obsolete." That's exactly what drives seijo, questioning the everyday, again and again.
