Another Brand Clothing · Munich, Germany

Another Brand Clothing · Munich, Germany
Utilizing high-quality jersey and cashmere to create fair fashion clothing options for the conscious consumer.

I came to this conversation through a personal connection: a friend who had modelled for the brand. That kind of warm, word-of-mouth thread is fitting for Another Brand, because when you talk to Corinne, that's exactly the energy you get. Not a founder doing a press call, but someone genuinely excited about what she and her co-founder Joanna Kapitza have built together since 2017.
The two of them are a proper founding pair. Corinne handles design and sourcing, Joanna the commercial side. Both come from fashion industry backgrounds, which means they know exactly what they were reacting against when they started: a world of compromises, overproduction, and fast fashion that looked good but was made badly.
Another Brand was their answer to a question they kept asking themselves as consumers: why is it so hard to find something well-made, sustainably produced, and actually wearable?
The clothes themselves are 'sportlich-feminine', as they put it in Munich, and that's exactly right. Sweatshirts, cashmere jumpers, printed tees with a certain attitude. The kind of pieces that don't try too hard but have clearly been thought about. Production happens in small family-run workshops in Portugal and in Inner Mongolia, where the cashmere comes from. Corinne and Joanna visit both twice a year. That's not a PR talking point, it's how they maintain standards where certifications don't fully reach.
What I noticed most about Corinne was the energy she brings to all of this. Female empowerment isn't a brand strategy for them: it's the water they swim in. The whole thing - the friendship, the division of labour, the mission - feels lived-in rather than constructed. They describe their customers as individualists, women who want something that lasts and means something. It reads less like a target group definition and more like a self-portrait.
Another Brand is based in Munich, designed in Munich, and unmistakably a product of two people who care deeply about what they put into the world. That comes through in the clothes. And in the conversation.
